IT Specialist

Job Summary

The role of IT Specialist is to work with all facets of the business and has cross functional responsibilities for IT and Management as well as external partners in making sure that the information technology infrastructure and digital property is fully operational.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administration and Maintenance of the Company’s Software.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
  • Maintain and develop the System based on the company’s requirements.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide management information.
  • Monitor and support the daily system activities in all the company’s branches.
  • Handling yearly inventory process of the company’s entire branches and warehouses.
  • Generate different types of reports from the system based on the management request.
  • Manage the purchasing of all hardware, software, and other IT supplies.
  • Planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications of the Company’s Network infrastructure and security.
  • Monitor the Website and email related issues and interact with the service providers.
  • Serve as main point of contact on all IT- related matters for the office assigned.
  • Oversee the administration of the company’s WAN (Wide Networks Area) & LAN (Local Networks Area).
  • Ensure that Company’s assets are maintained responsibly.
  • Work with the IT team to help implement Internal Systems, and provide sufficient training for the IT staff.
  • Ensure that the technology standards of the company will be able to provide its technical requirements.
  • Make sure that all telecommunications and technology in a business is functioning for optimal workforce productivity.
  • Maintain all the customers information and department confidential.
  • Take initiatives for self-learning.
  • Supports management decisions, requirement and expectations and performs other related functions that maybe assigned from time to time.
  • Follow the Company, Brand and Health & Safety policy and procedures & Local Labor Law.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 year in similar role or field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office & Database Softwares , Programming Languages , Networking & Reports
  • Good level of verbal and written communication skills.
